About Afro-Asian

Afro-Asian is a privately owned company based in the heart of the City of London and situated very close to Lloyd’s, but our roots originate in Tanzania.

The company’s name reflects its geographical specialisation through the key personnel’s knowledge of local risk exposures, language, cultural sensitivities and contact networks built up over decades. This has helped the company grow in Africa whereby it today boasts clients from over 24 countries in East, West, North and Southern Africa.

The company also has a meaningful presence in India through its associate company Afro-Asian Insurance & Re-insurance Brokers (India) Pvt. Ltd., and in Pakistan through its subsidiary company Afro-Asian Risk Services (Pvt.) Ltd. 

The intention is to grow the Asian and Far East book further through continued and progressive marketing and strategic investments.
